Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang penerapan tata krama budaya jawa dalam membentuk sikap santun anak usia dini. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, pengumpulan data dengan wawancara mendalam kepada 15 keluarga jawa yang berada di 3 Sekolah yaitu: 5 keluarga di SPS Aisyiyah Tunas Melati, 5 keluarga di Madrasah Diniyyah dan 5 keluarga di SD Gendengan Yogyakarta. Hasil penelitian mengindentifikasikan bahwa penerapan tata krama dengan menggunakan budaya jawa dapat membentuk sikap santun anak. Orang tua di SPS Aisyiyah Tunas Melati, di Madrasah Diniyyah dan di SD Gendengan masih meyakini bahwa penerapan tata krama dalam budaya jawa dapat membentuk sikap saling menghargai, sikap saling menghormati, dan membentuk sikap santun anak mereka terhadap orang lain.
