Peran Ayah dalam Mendampingi Anak selama Masa Belajar Dari Rumah (BDR) Covid-19

Pandemi COVID-19 telah mendistorsi aspek pendidikan di Indonesia tidak terkecuali Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD). Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran peran ayah dalam mendampingi anak selama belajar dari rumah (BDR). Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian menggunakan wawancara. Wawancara dilakukan kepada 8 orang ayah yang memiliki anak usia dini dan tersebar dibeberapa kelurahan di kota Kupang. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan melalui; pengumpulan data, penyajian data, reduksi data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menggambarkan peran ayah dalam mendampingi anak sangat bervariasi diantaranya; Penyedia fasilitas anak (provider); ayah berperan dalam emberikan fasilitas yang dibutuhkan anak selama BDR. Pemberi perlindungan (Protecting and providing); Ayah Memberikan perlindungan bagi anak dari penyebaran virus COVID-19, Sebagai pengambil keputusan (Decision maker): Ayah melibatkan anak dalam mengambil keputusan selama masa BDR.
