Esensi Model Pembelajaran High/Scope dalam Pembelajaran Anak Usia Dini

Program High/Scope berusaha untuk mengembangkan cakupan keterampilan yang luas pada anak, termasuk pemecahan masalah, interpersonal, dan kemampuan komunikasi yang penting untuk keberhasilan hidup yang sangat cepat berubah dalam masyarakat. Kurikulum mendukung inisiatif anak dengan menyediakan peralatan, dan waktu untuk melanjutkan aktifitas yang mereka pilih. Diwaktu yang sama, hal ini memberikan kesempatan Guru PAUD untuk merancang aktivitas bimbingan kemandirian anak berdasarkan urutan tujuan pembelajaran. Guru memegang peranan penting pada aktifitas instruksional dengan memilih material yang sesuai urutan perkembangan dan dengan mengajak anak menggunakan pendekatan active problem solving untuk belajar. Pendekatan High/Scope mempengaruhi tatanan kelas, sikap guru saat berinteraksi dengan anak, dan cara pekerja berinteraksi dengan anak. Artikel ini membahas lebih jauh tentang esensi model pembelajaran High/Scope dalam pembelajaran untuk anak usia dini.
