Fine motor skills are the ability to control fine and coordinated movements of the hands and fingers. Fine motor skills are one of the important abilities for children. Thus, if the child's fine motor skills are developed, it can support his daily life. Activities that can develop children's fine motor skills, such as cutting, rolling, sticking using color corrugated paper (kokoru) media. In this study, researchers wanted to prove the effect of color corrugated paper (kokoru) media on children's fine motor skills at Mekar Sari Surabaya Kindergarten. In this study using Quasi Experimental Design design. The design uses 2 groups, namely the experimental class that is given treatment and the control class that is not given treatment. The results of the study prove that color corrugated paper (kokoru) media has an effect on the experimental class group that gets treatment. This can be seen from the improvement of children's fine motor skills in cutting according to patterns, rolling consistently, and using enough glue and sticking well. The analysis technique obtained, namely Uhitung < Utabel 42.5 < 106, therefore HO is rejected, namely the absence of the influence of color corrugated paper (kokoru) media on children's fine motor skills at Mekar Sari Surabaya Kindergarten and Ha is accepted, namely the influence of color corrugated paper (kokoru) media on children's fine motor skills at Mekar Sari Surabaya Kindergarten.
ABSTRAK
Kemampuan motorik halus adalah kemampuan untuk mengendalikan gerakan halus dan terkoordinasi pada tangan dan jari-jemari. Kemampuan motorik halus merupakan salah satu kemampuan yang penting bagi anak. Dengan demikian apabila kemampuan motorik halus anak berkembang maka dapat menunjang kehidupan sehari – harinya. Kegiatan yang dapat mengembangkan kemampuan motorik halus anak, seperti menggunting, menggulung, menempel dengan menggunakan media colour corrugated paper ( kokoru ). Dalam penelitian ini peneliti ingin membuktikan adanya pengaruh media colour corrugated paper ( kokoru ) terhadap kemampuan motorik halus anak di TK Mekar Sari Surabaya. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan desain Quasi Experimental Design. Desain menggunakan 2 kelompok, yaitu kelas eksperimen yang diberikan perlakuan dan kelas kontrol yang tidak diberikan perlakuan. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa media colour corrugated paper ( kokoru ) ini berpengaruh terhadap kelompok kelas eksperimen yang mendapatkan perlakuan. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari peningkatan kemampuan motorik halus anak dalam kegiatan menggunting sesuai pola, menggulung secara konsisten, dan menggunakan lem secukupnya serta menempel dengan baik. Teknik analisis yang diperoleh, yaitu Uhitung < Utabel 42,5 < 106 , maka dari itu HO ditolak yakni tidak adanya pengaruh media colour corrugated paper ( kokoru ) terhadap kemampuan motorik halus anak di TK Mekar Sari Surabaya dan Ha diterima yaitu adanya pengaruh media colour corrugated paper ( kokoru ) terhadap kemampuan motorik halus anak di TK Mekar Sari Surabaya.
