This study aims to develop the ability to recognize the alphabet letters using alphabet building block learning media for children in Pertiwi Kindergarten, Sriwedari Village. The research was conducted using observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis method was conducted directly based on fieldwork results, including data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results indicated that the implementation of alphabet building block learning media is effective in developing letter recognition skills in early childhood. In addition to having a positive impact on the children, teachers also benefit from the use of letter building blocks as it makes the learning process more engaging, easier for children to understand, and more effective.
ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan dalam mengenali huruf abjad dengan media pembelajaran bongkar pasang huruf abjad pada anak di TK Pertiwi Desa Sriwedari. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Metode analisis data secara langsung berdasarkan hasil kerja lapangan yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian bahwa implementasi media pembelajaran bongkar pasang huruf abjad efektif dalam mengembangkan kemampuan mengenal huruf pada anak usia dini. Selain berdampak positif pada anak, guru juga merasakan manfaat dari penggunaan media bongkar pasang huruf karena membuat proses pembelajaran menjadi lebih menarik, mudah dipahami anak, dan berlangsung secara efektif.
