Pengaruh Senam Nifas Terhadap Kualitas Tidur Ibu Nifas
The Effect of Postpartum Exercise on the Sleep Quality of Postpartum Women

Physical fatigue due to activities of babysitting, breastfeeding, bathing the baby, cradling the baby at any time can cause new mothersto have less rest so that the mother's sleep or rest can be disrupted. Adequate sleep will make them fitter and healthier so they can do their activities properly. Sleep disturbances may decrease the health condition of the postpartum women, make them get angry easily, do activities unenthusiastically, inhibit hormonal function, or trigger depression and stress. In addition, the stress experienced by them will affect breast-milk production.This study aimed to determine the effect of postpartum exercise on the sleep quality of postpartum women at PMB Fitri Hayati, S.ST in Bandar Lampung. It used one Quasy experimen one group pre test-post test. The population in this study was all postpartum women who gave birth at PMB Fitri Hayati S.ST in January 2023 as many as 15 people. The research sample used total sampling. Postpartum exercise was carried out for 7 days, then sleep quality was measured by using PSQI sleep quality instrument. Test analysis used Wilcoxon test. The results showed that before doing postpartum exercise, the average sleep quality of 11 postpartum women (73.3%), while after doing postpartum exercise the quality of sleep was good showed by 15 postpartum mothers (100%) having an average decrease in quality score sleep from 1.87 (bad) to 1.00 (good). The results of the Wilcoxon test showed p-value of 0.000 <0.05 so that there was an effect between before and after doing postpartum exercise on the sleep quality of postpartum women at PMB Fitri Hayati, S.ST in Bandar Lampung. The conclusion from this study is that postpartum exercise affects the sleep quality in postpartum women. It is expected that postpartum women to do postpartum exercise routinely so that the sleep quality during the postpartum period can still be fulfilled and will not interfere with postpartum recovery and breast-milk production.
Abstrak
Kelelahan fisik karena aktivitas mengasuh bayi, menyusui, memandikan bayi, menimang bayi setiap saat dapat menyebabkan istirahat ibu kurang sehingga tidur/istirahat ibu dapat terganggu. Tidur yang cukup akan membuat ibu nifas lebih bugar dan sehat sehingga dapat beraktifitas dengan baik. Dampak dari gangguan tidur kondisi kesehatan ibu nifas menurun, emosional gampang meledak, tidak semangat melakukan aktifitas, menghambat fungsi hormonal, depresi dan stress yang dapat berdampak buruk pada dirinya. Selain itu, stress yang juga dialami oleh ibu nifas akan mempengaruhi produksi ASI. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh senam nifas terhadap kualitas tidur ibu nifas di PMB Fitri Hayati Kota Bandar Lampung. Desain penelitian Quasy experimen one group pre test-post test. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah semua ibu nifas yang melahirkan di PMB Fitri Hayati S.ST pada bulan Januari 2023 sebanyak 15 orang. Sample penelitian yaitu menggunakan total sampling. Senam nifas dilakukan selama 7 hari, kemudian di lakukan pengukuran kualitas tidur dengan Instrumen kualitas tidur PSQI. Uji analisis menggunakan uji wilcoxon.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebelum diberikan senam nifas rata-rata kualitas tidur buruk yaitu 11 ibu nifas (73,3%), setelah diberikan senam nifas kualitas tidur menjadi baik yaitu 15 ibu nifas (100%), dengan rata-rata penurunan skor kualitas tidur dari 1,87 (buruk) menjadi 1,00 (baik). Hasil uji wilcoxon menunjukkan nilai p-value 0,000< 0,05 sehingga terdapat pengaruh antara senam nifas terhadap kualitas tidur ibu nifas di PMB Fitri Hayati, S.ST Bandar Lampung. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu senam nifas berpengaruh terhadap kualitas tidur pada ibu nifas. Diharapkan ibu nifas melakukan senam nifas secara rutin sehingga kualitas tidur pada saat masa nifas tetap terpenuhi, dan tidak mengganggu pemulihan pasca melahirkan serta produksi ASI.
