This research analyzes the translation techniques used in “The Good Dinosaur” movie. The theory of translation technique used in this research was Molina and Albir (2002). The objective of this research is to explain the translation technique and find the most dominant translation techniques. This is a descriptive qualitative research. The result of “The Good Dinosaur” movie study found 7 translation techniques used such as literal translation, adaptation, linguistics compression, calque, compensation, amplification and transposition. In fiction, character reveals a textual representation of human being, or occasionally another creature. Character is the player in the story and it makes the story alive. Every character in a story has characterization. Characterization is the process of conveying information about characters in fiction. In other words, characterization is the way an author describes their characters’ characteristic in the story. The writer chose “An Analysis of Characterization in Fast and Furious Present: Hobbs & Shaw” as the title of his research. This research has two purposes: to find out How are instrinsic aspects generally described in <em>Fast & Furious Present: Hobbs & Shaw</em>, and to find How the protagonist and antagonist characterizations are described in <em>Fast & Furious Present: Hobbs & Shaw</em>. The writer limits the research into analyzing only five main characters that found in the story that the writer found after watching throughout theThis study analyzes the character transformation of Hiccup in the animated film How to Train Your Dragon (2010) as a reflection of identity development and resistance to societal norms. The research explores how Hiccup's relationship with the dragon Toothless shapes his journey of self-discovery, from a misunderstood adolescent to a visionary leader. Using a qualitative descriptive method, the study applies Egri’s Character Arc Theory, Tajfel’s Social Identity Theory, and Serpell’s Human-Animal Relationship Theory. The study was conducted at Gedanganak 03 Elementary School and employed a qualitative case study approach. The data were collected through classroom observations, interviews with students and the teacher, and documentation. The results showed that the use of 3D flashcards increased student engagement, participation, and vocabulary recognition. Students were more enthusiastic and motivated during the learning activities, especially when the flashcards were used in games or interactive tasks. The 3D visual elements helped students to understand and remember vocabulary more effectively. It is concluded that 3D flashcards are a useful and engaging media for teaching English vocabulary to young learners. This study compares how professional translators and internet fansubbers translate 31 slang words in the film <em>Legally Blonde</em> into Indonesian subtitles. Applying Mona Baker’s translation equivalence theory, six translation strategies were identified: generalization, neutralization, cultural substitution, paraphrase, literal translation, and omission. Both translator groups achieved high accuracy (professionals 1.84, fansubs 1.87 out of 2), with fansubbers scoring higher in cultural equivalence (1.90 versus 1.68). Professionals favored neutralization to soften slang for broad audiences, whereas fansubbers integrated neutralization with cultural substitution and paraphrasing to retain emotional and cultural resonance. Both groups maintained high readability scores. The different meanings of the three fukushi will be easily understood by native Japanese speakers when viewed in terms of their semantic knowledge and context, however foreign speakers often have difficulty understanding the differences of the three fukushi when speaking them. This study aims to obtain a description of the differences and similarities of fukushi iyoiyo, toutou, yatto in terms of structure and meaning. There are 19 Japanese sentence data sourced from corpus data. This study uses the comparative theory of Hapidi's study (2013). This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The result of the research is fukushi iyoiyo explaining verbs, nouns, adjectives. Fukushi iyoiyo means "finally" and "more and more". Fukushi toutou explains verbs, adjectives and adverbs. Fukushi toutou means "finally". Fukushi yatto describes verbs, adverbs and functions as a predicate.
