Frontier of Academic Management (FAM) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the Graduate Program in Educational Management at Ngudi Waluyo University. This journal serves as a dynamic platform for researchers, academics, practitioners, and policymakers to share innovative ideas, empirical research, and theoretical advances in the fields of educational and academic management.

Focus and Scope

FAM publishes original research articles, review papers, and case studies that contribute to the development of educational management from early childhood through higher education, as well as in broader organizational contexts. The journal’s scope includes, but is not limited to:

  • Educational Management: Early Childhood Education (PAUD), Elementary and Secondary Education, and Higher Education.
  • Educational Technology: The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education, digital transformation, e-learning management, and smart classroom environments.
  • Human Resource Management (HRM) in Education: Leadership, organizational behavior, teacher professional development, and performance evaluation.
  • Financial and Resource Management: Budgeting, strategic planning, facilities management, and the economics of education.
  • Curriculum & Policy Management: Educational policy analysis, curriculum development, and quality assurance systems.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides direct open access to its content based on the principle that making research results freely available to the public supports broader global knowledge exchange. All articles are accessible to readers free of charge without any subscription fees.

Authors retain copyright in their works and grant the journal the right of first publication. Articles are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which allows others to share and adapt the work, provided the original work is properly cited.

Archiving Policy

To ensure the secure and permanent preservation of the journal’s digital content, Frontier of Academic Management uses the LOCKSS and CLOCKSS archiving systems. This ensures that published research remains accessible in the long term.

Article Processing Charges (APC)

To support the publication and dissemination of open-access research, Frontier of Academic Management has established the following Article Processing Charges (APC) structure:

  • Authors from Indonesia: IDR 150,000 per accepted manuscript (payable only after the manuscript has been officially accepted for publication).
  • International Authors: Free (No publication fees).

There are no manuscript submission fees for any author. International authors are fully exempt from publication fees to encourage global scientific exchange.
