Persepsi Orang Tua Dalam Pendidikan Karakter Anak Usia Dini Selama Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh

The purpose of this study was to find out about the perceptions of parents in the implementation of early childhood character education programs at school I CHAMPS ACADEMY during distance learning during this covid-19 pandemic. The research uses a quantitative approach with survey research methods, parents who have early childhood who are taking distance learning as respondents in this study and totaling 19 people. The research instrument was developed from 4 indicators of early childhood character education, namely spiritual character, moral character, social character and environmental care character. The indicator is developed into 30 question items. Questionnaires were distributed to respondents via Google Forms. The results of the four research indicators are that all of them are at a very high percentage value and it means that it can be concluded that the perception of parents in the implementation of early childhood character education during distance learning is in very good condition. From the 15 values of characters, the following are implemented in early childhood at I CHAMPS ACADEMY school consists of honesty, discipline, tolerance and peace, confidence, independence, helping, cooperation, respect and politeness, responsibility, hard work, humbleness, and care for environment.  All of these characters have been applied well in learning at school.ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tentang persepsi orang tua dalam implementasi program pendidikan karakter anak usia dini di sekolah I CHAMPS ACADEMY selama pembelajaran jarak jauh di masa pandemi covid-19 ini. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian survey pada orang tua yang memiliki anak usia dini yang sedang mengikuti pembelajaran jarak jauh sebagi responden dalam penelitian ini dan berjumlah 19 orang. Instrumen penelitian dikembangkan dari 4 indikator pendidikan karakter anak usia dini yaitu karakter spiritual, karakter moral, karakter sosial dan karakter kepedulian lingkungan. Indikator dikembangkan ke dalam 30 item pertanyaan. Angket pertanyaan dibagikan kepada responden malalui Google Form. Hasil penelitian dari keempat indikator penelitian ini adalah semuanya berada pada nilai persentase yang sangat tinggi sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa persepsi orang tua dalam implementasi pendidikan karakter anak usia dini ini selama pembelajaran jarak jauh dalam kondisi yang sangat baik. Dari 15 nilai karakter yang ada, karakter yang telah diterapkan pada anak usia dini di sekolah I CHAMPS ACADEMY meliputi kejujuran, disiplin, toleransi dan cinta damai, percaya diri, mandiri, tolong menolong, kerjasama dan gotong royong, hormat dan sopan santun, tanggung jawab, kerja keras, rendah hati, dan peduli lingkungan. Semua karakter ini telah diteapkan dengan baik dalam pembeljaran di sekolah.
