Abstract

Peneliti menggunakan media video tutorial, sebagai strategi untuk meningkatkan skill menjahit busana anak pada mahasiswa S1 PG-PAUD di Universitas Ngudi Waluyo. Mahasiswa sebagai calon pendidik PAUD harus mempunya skill lebih untuk menata fashion anak agar lebih fasionable. Media video tutorial menjahit busana pesta anak dijadikan media untuk meningkatkan skill menjahit mahasiswa PGPAUD. Pada kenyataannya selama ini calon pendidik PAUD maupun pendidik PAUD dalam mempersiapkan fashion anak yang digunakan untuk pestas panggung atau karnaval lebih banyak membuat pada penjahit. Adanya latar belakang tersebut maka penelitian ini bertujuan agar calon pendidik PAUD mampu membuat busana untuk anak didiknya tanpa membuat ke penjahit, selain itu juga dapat menambah skill calon pendidik PAUD agar dapat lebih berkreativitas dalam mempersiapakan busana untuk anak didik nantinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa efektifkah penggunaan media video tutorial untuk meningkatkan skill menjahit busana pesta anak pada mahasiswa SI PGPAUD di Universitas Ngudi Waluyo. Metode yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan metode eksperimen yang berbentuk Quasi Eksperiment dengan jenis one group pretest-posttest design (Arikunto, 2014). Data yang dikumpulkan diolah dengan menggunakan uji willcoxonsign rank test. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa video tutorial dapat meningkatkan skill menjahit busana anak pada Mahasiswa S1PGPAUD di mata kuliah Tata Busana.
