Publication Etics
The statement of scientific code of ethics is a statement of the code of ethics of all parties involved in the publication process of this scientific journal, namely managers, editors, bestary partners, and authors. This scientific publication code of ethics statement is based on the Head of LIPI Regulation Number 5 of 2014 concerning the Code of Ethics for Scientific Publications, which essentially upholds three ethical values in publications, namely (i) Neutrality, which is free from conflicts of interest in the management of publications; (ii) Fairness, which gives authorship rights to those entitled as authors; and (iii) Honesty, which is free from duplication, fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism (DF2P) in publications. Please sign and submit the Statement of Ethics as part of your initial article submission. The Copyright Agreement must be submitted before the article can be published. The Ethics Statement and Copyright Agreement can be sent by post, email or fax. Duties and Responsibilities of the Editor Bringing together the needs of readers and authors, Striving for continuous improvement in the quality of publications, Implementing processes to ensure the quality of published papers, Promoting freedom of opinion objectively, Maintaining the integrity of the author's academic record, Submitting corrections, clarifications, retractions, and apologies when necessary, Being responsible for the style and format of the paper, while the content and any statements in the paper are the responsibility of the author/authors, Actively soliciting the opinions of authors, readers, referees, and members of the editorial board to improve the quality of the publication, Encouraging the assessment of the journal when there are findings, Supporting initiatives to reduce research and publication errors by asking authors to attach an Ethics Clearance form that has been approved by the Ethics Clearance Committee, Supporting initiatives to educate researchers about publication ethics, Examining the effects of publication policies on the attitudes of authors and bestary partners and improving them to increase responsibility and minimize errors, Having an open mind to new opinions or views of others that may conflict with personal opinions, Not defending one's own opinions, authors or third parties that could lead to unobjective decisions, Encouraging authors, so that they can improve the paper until it is suitable for publication. Duties and Responsibilities of the Bestary Partner Receive an assignment from the editor to review the paper and submit the results of the review to the editor, as a material for determining the feasibility of a paper to be published. Reviewers may not review papers that involve themselves, either directly or indirectly Maintain the author's privacy by not disseminating the results of corrections, suggestions, and recommendations by providing criticism, suggestions, input, and recommendations Encourage authors/writers to make improvements to the paper Reviewing papers that have been corrected in accordance with predetermined standards. The paper is reviewed in a timely manner according to the publication's style based on scientific principles (data collection methods, author's legality, conclusions, etc.). Duties and Responsibilities of Authors/writers Ensure that those included in the list of authors/writers meet the criteria as authors/writers. Take collective responsibility for the work and content of the article including methods, analysis, calculations, and details. Declare the origin of resources (including funding), either directly or indirectly. Explain limitations in the research Respond to comments made by the bestary partners in a professional and timely manner. Inform the editor if he/she will withdraw the paper. Make a statement that the paper submitted for publication is original, has never been published anywhere in any language, and is not in the process of being submitted to another publisher.
