Analisis Peran Pendidikan Pancasila dalam Mengembangkan Kompetensi Abad 21 pada Siswa Sekolah Dasar

Abstract
Pancasila Education has a strategic role in shaping the character of the younger generation as well as developing 21st century competencies, which include critical thinking skills, creativity, communication, collaboration, and digital literacy. This study aims to analyse the effectiveness of Pancasila Education in shaping students' character, identify challenges in integrating 21st century competencies, and evaluate the gap between learning plans and implementation in the field. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through interviews, observations and document analysis at several primary schools in Bekasi district, using purposive sampling and snowball sampling techniques to obtain relevant data. Analysis was conducted using a thematic approach to identify the main patterns of the research results. The results showed that Pancasila Education is effective in instilling the values of cooperation, tolerance and responsibility through project-based and collaborative learning methods. However, technological limitations, lack of teacher training, and lack of support from parents are the main obstacles in developing 21st century competencies. A gap between the plan in the teaching module and the implementation was also found, caused by limited time and resources. This study concludes that improvements in implementation strategies, teacher training and technology support are needed to optimise the impact. Recommendations are given to increase the involvement of all parties, including teachers, schools, parents, and government, so that the integration of Pancasila values with 21st century competencies can be more effective and sustainable.
Abstrak
Pendidikan Pancasila memiliki peran strategis dalam membentuk karakter generasi muda serta mengembangkan kompetensi abad ke-21, yang mencakup keterampilan berpikir kritis, kreativitas, komunikasi, kolaborasi, dan literasi digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas Pendidikan Pancasila dalam membentuk karakter siswa, mengidentifikasi tantangan dalam mengintegrasikan kompetensi abad ke-21, dan mengevaluasi kesenjangan antara rencana dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran di lapangan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen pada beberapa sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Bekasi, menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan snowball sampling untuk memperoleh data yang relevan. Analisis dilakukan dengan pendekatan tematik untuk mengidentifikasi pola utama dari hasil penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pendidikan Pancasila efektif dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai kerja sama, toleransi, dan tanggung jawab melalui metode pembelajaran berbasis proyek dan kolaboratif. Namun, keterbatasan teknologi, kurangnya pelatihan guru, dan minimnya dukungan dari orang tua menjadi hambatan utama dalam pengembangan kompetensi abad ke-21. Kesenjangan antara rencana dalam modul ajar dan pelaksanaan juga ditemukan, yang disebabkan oleh keterbatasan waktu dan sumber daya. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan diperlukan perbaikan dalam strategi implementasi, pelatihan guru, dan dukungan teknologi untuk mengoptimalkan dampaknya. Rekomendasi diberikan untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan semua pihak, termasuk guru, sekolah, orang tua, dan pemerintah, agar integrasi nilai-nilai Pancasila dengan kompetensi abad ke-21 dapat lebih efektif dan berkelanjutan.
