Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of using Uno Stacko learning media on elementary school students' reading comprehension skills. The method used is quantitative with a one-group pretest-posttest pre-experimental research design. The subjects of the study were 30 fifth grade students of SD Muhammadiyah 1 Wringinanom. The instrument used was an essay test to measure reading comprehension skills given before and after treatment. The results of the descriptive analysis showed an increase in the average pretest score of 31.97 to 87.30 in the posttest. The Shapiro-Wilk normality test showed that the data was normally distributed. The paired-samples T-Test test showed a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.05) which means that there is a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores. These results indicate that the use of Uno Stacko has a positive and significant effect on improving students' reading comprehension skills. This media is considered effective because it can create a pleasant learning atmosphere, encourage active participation of students, and facilitate understanding of concepts through a concrete approach and educational games. Therefore, Uno Stacko is worth considering as an alternative and innovative educational media for learning Indonesian in elementary schools.
